The Brittany Region, owner of the ports of Saint-Malo and Cancale, acts as port authority, concessionary and contracting authority for the construction, maintenance and operation of maritime and hydraulic works (locks, bridges, docks, etc.) located in sensitive marine environments.
Since January 1st, 2020, and for a period of 10 years, the Brittany Region has entrusted the concession of the ports of Saint-Malo & Cancale to EDEIS.

Thus, EDEIS ensures the management, operation, maintenance and development of infrastructure and superstructures of the ports of Saint-Malo & Cancale.
Linked by a Public Service Delegation (DSP) contract, the Brittany region and EDEIS have the ambitions to develop the economic activities of the port while ensuring its environmental transformation, by allowing its better integration into the city and its opening to the residents.
